Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
The ACLS course builds on the existing knowledge built upon the BLS lifesaving course, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This course is suited for medical professionals who deal with the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or multiple other cardiovascular emergencies as well as professionals who deal with emergency response.
Designed for those who are proficient in administering BLS and ACLS skills.
The AHA ACLS skills session is the hands-on portion to the certification. During the class, students will be guided through multiple life threatening cardiopulmonary scenarios, also known as megacodes. During each megacode, the students will be required to display a satisfactory foundation of ACLS skills.
Basic Life Support
This course is geared towards pre-hospital providers, like an EMT, paramedics, firefighters, athletic trainer or lifeguard as well as the in-hospital providers such as PCA's, RN's MD's. Basic Life Support (BLS) is designed to train professionals to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies for adult, child, and infant victims.
Designed for those who are proficient in administering BLS skills.
The skills session is an in- person examination that evaluates the students proficiency in performing the mechanical skills learned during BLS certification.
CPR AED Course for Non Medical Staff
Heartsaver CPR is geared for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course in CPR and AED to meet job requirements.
Designed for those who are proficient in administering Heartsaver skills.
In this session you will learn Life saving techniques through skills practice such as CPR and the use of AED devices by instructors.
